Percy Howard III MD is a native of Huntsville Texas. He spent four years in the Air Force as a medic after graduating from high school. After an honorable discharge from the military, he worked his way through Houston Baptist University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He attended medical school at University of Texas at Galveston and then completed a three year Family Medicine residency program at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. After graduating from the residency program he worked for Memorial Hospital System for the past eighteen years. The past nine years he has been a faculty member of the Memorial Family Medicine Residency where he saw patients and helped trained young Family Medicine doctors.He uses a relaxed approach to patients visits but emphasizes preventative care to improve long term outcomes. He enjoys caring for patients of all ages but limits his pediatric patients to above ten years of age.
