Royal Elk started with one goal , is to make great coffee. Coffee roasting is both an art and a science—a balancing act of countless complexities. We felt in love with it from the very first roast. There is so much to explore, so many endless possibilities and so much to learn. Specialty coffee industry continues to grow more and more, we want to be a part of something special. Keeping that in mind we opened our first location in Somerville New Jersey. We want to give people an opportunity to grow with us, learn this wonderful craft. We constantly give back to the community that helps support our efforts. Roasting on site in our cafe shows customers that we are committed to quality and freshness of our coffee. We try to purchase coffee from importers who not only compensate farmers fairly, but invest in those farmers in order to improve their lives.We want to make coffee roasting as personal as possible. That`s why we use our commerical 1kg Aillio Bullet R1. We feel like we have more control during the roasting process , the result is better tasting coffee. Exactly what we want to give our customers. Each batch of coffee is roasted after you place your order, we want to make sure you enjoy the consistency and great flavor you want and deserve in your coffee. We put a roasted date on the bag prior to shipping so that you know exactly when your coffee was roasted.
