More information about Pickups For Breast Cancer

Pickupsforbreastcancer.org is a service of the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF). We will pick up your lovingly used clothing and household goods and use the funds raised from their sale to support the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation’s continuing effort to end breast cancer.

The South Florida Breast Cancer Coalition was originally founded in 1993 by 3 local women as a nonprofit, grassroots organization dedicated to ending breast cancer through advocacy, education, and research. In 2002 with the introduction of the specialty END BREAST CANCER license plate, a second organization was founded, the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation.

Since that time, we have become best known for our instrumental role in the passage of the Mary Brogan Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment Act. The funds raised through our household goods resales along with the END BREAST CANCER license plate program are vital to the continuation of these efforts.

FBCF welcomes all who are committed to ending the breast cancer epidemic. We have made great strides, but much more needs to be done, especially in Florida. With this additional funding, the dream will become reality and keep us on the path for projected growth.
