Serenity Acres provides great addiction treatment. You see your counselors a lot, which is so helpful. Also I was able to get help for some outside issues I had, which I think will really make a difference.

Highly recommend. Great counselors, comfortable atmosphere, and lots of different therapies. LOVED the yoga and meditation. I feel connected and ready to recover now.

I can't believe I don't want to drink. For as long as I can remember, I lived for alcohol, and it ruined my life. But by coming here and participating in the amazing programs they have, and the counselng, I feel free and ready to start my life sober.

Finally, I feel like I have managed to work through some major issues I was carrying around that were keeping me from staying sober. The daily counseling and mental health counseling on top of that really made a difference. I think I have healed and have been given what I need (including a relationship with a higher power) to continue on this path of sobriety and recovery.

Was resistant to treatment at first, but after 60 days I can say I'm so grateful for my time here. I got a lot out of the counseling, and the yoga/meditation sessions were great. Mostly, I feel like I have fully accepted that I'm an addict, and want to stay sober. I'm thankful for the recovery connections I made here so I can stay on the path of recovery.

I have been to other treatment centers, and I think what sets Serenity Acres apart is the amount of one on one counseling. Also the dual diagnosis aspect. Both helped me deal with some issues I had that were fueling my alcoholism, and I feel like a whole person for the first time in a very long time. I will always be grateful for my time here.

SA has provided insight into myself that I was unable to achieve on my own. I have accumulated a number of tools to deal with both my mental health and addiction issues. It has also introduced me into the fellowship and given me the opportunity to find my spirituality which has been lacking from my life.

Serenity Acres has changed my life by giving me the necessary tools to take out in the real world and stay sober. The books we read really helped me look at things in a different way. Meeting with my counselors every day was also a big help.

All of the staff at Serenity is caring and helpful, and much of the staff are in recovery and are living proof that recovery is possible. Both of my counselors were incredibly helpful, honest, devoted, and patient with my recovery. With their guidance, I was able to make progress in leaps and bounds, and discover more of my true self. Additionally, they helped me begin to mend relationships with my family.
