PIPECO Malaysia design and produced GRP Hot Press Moulded Panels for sectional POTABLE water storage tanks that meet specification in performance criteria of structural and durability.

PIPECO Malaysia have design and produced GRP Hot Press Moulded Panels to meet specification in performance criteria of structural and durability. Tests to Singapore Standard SS 245:1995 crossed reference to the British standard BS 7491 Part 3:1994 and BS EN 13280:2001 having the status of a British Standard specifying the performance specification of these products are met and tested by independent Test Laboratories and Accredited Bodies.
1) Singapore Standard SS 375:2001. Suitability of non-metallic products for use in contact with water intended for human consumption with regard to their effect on the quality of the water.
2) Singapore Standard SS 245:1995. Mechanical and physical tests on the performance
of panels to determine conformance to the Specification for Glass Reinforced Polyester Sectional Water Tanks.
3) Singapore Standard SS 245:1995.The Luminance measurement test. Sunlight
Transmission testing at the Singapore Metrology Centre for the purpose of measuring
Luminance. The test showed that ratio results of the panels did not exceed the 0.001
Mark as required.
4) British Standard BS 6920:2000. Testing of non-metallic materials for use with drinking
Water. Water Regulations Advisory Scheme Tests Of Effect On Water Quality.
5) WRAS UK approved product. Registration no.0911506.
6) ISO 9001:2000 Certified for the Quality policy and Quality Objectives achievement.

PIPECO PRODUCT:-
PIPECO manufacture and design of the hot press moulded GRP panel sectional water storage tanks to the quality requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and complied with Singapore Standard SS245:1995 Glass Reinforced Polyester Sectional Water Tanks crossed reference to British Standard BS7491:Part3:1994 Glass-fibre Reinforced Plastic Cisterns for Cold Water Storage.
PIPECO GRP panels have passed full tests of effect on water quality - BS 6290 and is listed by WRAS (Water Regulation Advisory Scheme) Approved Material.
PIPECO tanks manufactured by the Hot Press Moulded Method have the glass reinforced plastic moulded at temperatures up to 150 degree C using ISOPHTHIC unsaturated polyester resins, UV stabilised and 'E' glass-fibre reinforcement, color pale grey.
PIPECO panel having smooth gloss surface restricts the growth of algae, corrosion resistance and do not pollute water is suitable for storage of potable cold water at atmospheric pressure and 50 degree C
PIPECO Insulation of 50MM thick polyurethane foam 40KG/M3 insulating material cover with GRP skin which is resistance to ultra violet radiation, weather protective and water tight.
PIPECO panels are supported either by the stainless steel tie rod internally or galvanized box sections externally. All metallic components in contact with water and the bolts/nuts/washers used in assembly above the water line shall be stainless steel grade 316/A4.
PIPECO panels are joined full width of the panel flange using non-toxic, flexible and resistance to ultra violet PVC foam sealant.
PIPECO tanks deeper than 1.5M shall be fitted with internal PVC ladders, external galvanized steel ladders and level indicators.
PIPECO tanks are equipped with Air Vents and Man Hole Access.
PIPECO tanks can be installed on either flat continuous foundation of close center (1m c/c) beams conforming to PIPECO's specification of flatness and deflection.
PIPECO tanks have a ten (10) years warranty against manufacturing defects.
