It all began in 1981 when president & owner, Ben Pino took over the small 17000 sq.ft IGA franchise on Trunk Rd. He instantly injected life into the store offering extremely aggressive pricing, full service including carry-out & delivery, as well as introducing our now famous Pino's Italian sausage. Mr. Pino's background and knowledge of meat as a former Dominion stores meat supervisor filled a huge void in the Sault Ste. Marie market. Following numerous renovations & upgrades as the years went by, the little old store on Trunk Rd had reached its capacity.
